Most firms have moved past the question of whether to use AI. The harder question is where it earns its keep. I sit with Managing Partners who know they need to do something but who have been told a hundred different things about which tool to buy. That is rarely the right question.
The PROMPT framework is six commercial disciplines that decide whether AI earns its keep in a professional services firm or quietly costs you. It sits beside Seven Strategic AI Questions Every Managing Partner Should Be Asking, the strategic, boardroom-level companion piece. Together they are the strategic and the practical halves of the same conversation.
PROMPT covers six areas where AI either pays back or burns time: positioning, research, outreach, materials, proposals, and tracking. The framework does not assume the firm has a CTO. It assumes the firm has partners who are short on time and need a sensible structure to hand to a senior team member to run with.
